RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

Bollard Canada Inc.

At Bollard Canada Inc., customer satisfaction is important to us. Please review the following return, refund, exchange, and warranty policies carefully before making a purchase.


1. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Products may be eligible for a refund within ten (10) days of purchase, or within ten (10) days from the shipping date for online orders.

Exchange requests may also be accepted within ten (10) days of purchase or shipment date.

All refund and exchange requests are subject to review and approval by Bollard Canada Inc. depending on:

  • Product condition
  • Product value
  • Type of product
  • Reason for return
  • Order status

For higher-value products or special situations, additional review may be required before approval.


2. PRODUCT CONDITION & RESTOCKING FEES

Returned products must:

  • Be in their original condition
  • Include all original packaging
  • Include accessories, manuals, hardware, and supplied components
  • Show no signs of excessive use, installation damage, or modification

If returned items are incomplete or missing components, Bollard Canada Inc. reserves the right to:

  • Refuse the return
  • Deduct the value of missing items from the refund amount

Opened or used products may be subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee depending on the condition of the merchandise.

Products returned after 40 to 60 days may be subject to a 30% restocking fee.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise approved by Bollard Canada Inc.


3. SPECIAL ORDERS & CUSTOM PRODUCTS

No refunds or exchanges will be accepted on:

  • Special orders
  • Custom-made products
  • Modified products
  • Cut or fabricated materials
  • Custom color or size requests

All custom and special-order sales are final.


4. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

Defective products must be reported within thirty (30) days of delivery.

After thirty (30) days, exchanges may no longer be accepted directly through Bollard Canada Inc.; however, products may still be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.

Manufacturer warranty terms and conditions will apply.


5. PURCHASE ORDERS

No refunds will be issued on signed and approved purchase orders unless otherwise agreed in writing by Bollard Canada Inc.


6. INSTALLATION ERRORS

No refunds or exchanges will be accepted for products damaged or incorrectly installed by the customer, contractor, installer, or third party.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their intended application before installation.


7. DELIVERY INSPECTION

Customers are responsible for inspecting all products immediately upon delivery.

Any shortages, damages, incorrect products, or delivery issues must be reported within five (5) to ten (10) days following delivery.

After ten (10) days:

  • No refunds or exchanges will be accepted
  • Bollard Canada Inc. will not be responsible for replacement costs
  • Claims may be refused

8. RETURN AUTHORIZATION

For security and verification purposes, Bollard Canada Inc. may require:

  • Customer name
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • Valid identification
  • Signature
  • Original invoice or proof of purchase

Unauthorized returns may be refused.


9. REFUND METHODS

Returns accompanied by the original invoice will be refunded using the original method of payment whenever possible.

Cash purchases may be refunded by company cheque.

Returns without an original invoice or proof of purchase may:

  • Be refused
  • Be issued as store credit only

Gift card purchases or gift receipt returns will be refunded as store credit only.


10. CONTRACTORS & DIRECT PURCHASES

Direct purchases, contractor orders, wholesale orders, and commercial transactions may be subject to:

  • A minimum 25% restocking fee
  • Administrative fees
  • Shipping fees
  • Handling charges
  • Custom processing fees

Additional charges related to the transaction may apply.


PRODUCT WARRANTY

Bollard Covers Warranty

Bollard Covers are covered by a limited five (5) year warranty on color fading and UV resistance.

Warranty coverage is applied as follows:

  • 100% coverage during the first year
  • Prorated coverage based on years of use thereafter

Replacement shipping, labor, installation, and delivery charges may apply.

Warranty coverage does not include:

  • Improper installation
  • Abuse or misuse
  • Accidental damage
  • Vandalism
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Normal wear and tear beyond expected use

Other Products Warranty

All other Bollard Canada Inc. products are covered by a limited one (1) year warranty unless otherwise specified.

Delivery, labor, and shipping charges may apply during replacements or warranty exchanges.


IMPORTANT NOTICE

Bollard Canada Inc. reserves the right to:

  • Refuse returns not meeting policy conditions
  • Modify this policy at any time without prior notice
  • Request additional information before approving returns or refunds
